I can tell you that there have been some adjustments to make it work when windows 7 was released. There also is the linux/macos version that features what windows uac dreams of, settings and user files stored with the user profile.

I like the current configuration on windows because i can use two clients with different settings. I think they will adjust easily when and if windows gets serious about uac (i.e. more than prompting for an ok).
