All things on Atys are held together in a delicate balance. Recently this balance has changed and creatures infected with goo have been discovered. The Defense Circle, under the guidance of Sage Chan Ji-Cian, will head the research of this increasing phenomenon. To assist in the research efforts, Vao Seng-Lu, newly appointed Goo Observer, will be stationed in Zora near the stables to collect items that can be gathered from goo infected plants and creatures. Homins who turn in samples will earn merits for all their efforts.

I understand the minds of most homins are occupied with the Marauders and the threat they represent, but is there any news from the Defense Circle regarding the investigation of the Goo infected creatures?

My dear friend Bitttymacod reported that the Goo Observer and most of the Goo infected creatures are gone, but no resolution was given to the case, save the suspicion that homins were involved.

As much as I agree we have to be careful with the Marauders, the Goo is the single most dangerous and vile force on Atys.
